How do I access the LOYAL extension in Google Docs?

- Open a Word document.
- Search for the LOYAL Add-in within the Office Add-ins page. Select Insert > Add-ins > Get Add-ins. Search for “LOYAL” in the search bar on the left of the Office Add-ins page. Select the “Add” button to add LOYAL to your add-ins.
- Open the LOYAL add-in. Select Insert > Add-ins > My Add-ins. Double-click LOYAL in the “My Add-ins” page.
How do I search using a brief?
- Begin by copy & pasting your article brief into a working Google or Word document, then click on the LOYAL logo at the top of your page to activate the tool.
- Quickly scroll through key articles down the side of your document.
- Click the ‘Archive button at the bottom of the LOYAL panel to view related articles within your archive or click the ‘News’ button to view related articles from across the web. Select and view each article to scan for useful information.
- Copy and paste helpful information into your working document to build out your piece and insert hyperlinks to highly relevant articles by clicking the three dots at the top right of an article preview and selecting “Copy Link Address”.
- With all your research in one place, you can now begin to build out your article. Return to LOYAL’s search function to support you throughout the writing process too.
How do I search using keywords?
- First, open a new Google or Word document.
- Add 5-10 keywords relating to your article topic to the document.
- Click on the LOYAL logo at the top of your page to activate the tool.
- Click the ‘Archive’ button at the bottom of the LOYAL panel to view related articles within your archive and click the ‘News’ button to view related articles across the web.
- Quickly scroll through and expand each article preview to read the full piece.
- Copy & paste useful links into your document to return to. Click the three dots in the top right corner of each article preview panel and select ‘Copy Link Address’.
- You are now ready to start writing your article! Don’t forget, you can use LOYAL to assist you along the way with research and linking.
How do I search using a headline?
- Open a new Google or Word document.
- Type your working article headline into the document using subject keywords.
- Click the LOYAL logo at the top of your document to search for articles that relate to your headline within your archive and across the web.
- Click the ‘Archive’ button at the bottom of the LOYAL panel to view related articles within your archive and click the ‘News’ button to view related articles across the web.
- Click on article previews to read in more depth, open in a new tab, or copy and paste link addresses into your working document.
How do I copy the link from a suggested article?

How do I access the extension within my CMS?
- Open up your article within your CMS.
- Highlight the section of text you wish to search, right-click on that text and select the LOYAL option from the menu.

How do I disable a source?
- Click the three dots on the top right corner of the source you want to disable and select ‘Disable source’.
- View and manage disabled sources under the Disabled Sources header at the bottom of the page.
- To re-add a disabled source, click the three dots on the top right corner of the source and select ‘Enable source’.

Use ‘filter by source’ to select specific sources from your list
2. Refine your search by Keyword Search: simply enter your keywords in the search bar. Sort your results by newest, oldest or choose relevance to find the most accurate results based on your query.

- Add your search console details and follow the steps to verify your account. If you don’t have the correct permissions please speak to your Administrator

3. From your Search Console page, you can add URL’s to your SEO Admin page by clicking the 3 dots
